Benjamin Raffety
Ben Raffety is the Owner of Anvil Solutions, a consulting firm serving Montana and the Western U.S. mining industry. With 15+ years of experience at Rio Tinto and Minerals Technologies, he has led mines through permitting, exploration, capital development, and operation, holding roles of escalating responsibility. Ben has extensive relationships with Montana DEQ and federal agencies serving Montana, promoting responsible and sustainable mining at all stages of the process.
Beyond his consulting work, Ben has made lasting contributions to the industry, serving five years as President of the Montana Mining Association and currently directing MMA’s critical minerals and rare earth extraction program.
Nolan Konen
Nolan serves as Senior Mine Engineer at Anvil Solutions, bringing over 6-years of open-pit mining experience. His background includes drill and blasting, production support, and improving site performance while maintaining strong safety standards.
Prior to joining Anvil, Nolan worked at Magris Talc Yellowstone Mine, where he led site engineering efforts and supported production and drilling analysis. He worked closely with operations, environmental, and geotechnical teams to support safe, efficient operations.
Tory Haagenson
Tory serves as Business Development Manager at Anvil Solutions, where she oversees business operations, client communications, and content development to support organizational growth. With more than a decade of experience in education, Tory brings exceptional organizational skills, clear communication, and a commitment to precision to every project. Dedicated to building positive relationships and keeping operations efficient, Tory helps Anvil Solutions deliver a seamless experience for every client.
